Week one of the football season is in the books, and even if you poured over last year’s stat lines all summer, extrapolated your own spreadsheet of projections, watched and rewatched Hard Knocks, camp highlights, and preseason film, the only thing you can genuinely predict about pro football’s week one is that it will be excitingly unpredictable.

That, and you can bet Topps will be ready to print rookie cards you’ve gotta get your hands on.

If you’re unfamiliar with the 2024 TOPPS NOW® format, Topps immortalizes the most significant moments in sports right as they happen. It prints cards for individual athletes to be placed into packs of 1, 5, 10, or 20, with base card parallels and autos that we’ll break down further below.

First up, and already sold out, is Xavier Worthy, who made the absolute most of his three touches and four overall looks by scoring two touchdowns: one rushing and one receiving. It’s pretty much as great as a debut can get for a rookie, especially one on a team as stacked as his.

Along with Worthy, quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels have their respective cards hot off the presses right after their football debuts. It may not have been the prettiest first game on Soldier Field’s turf for Williams, but it was a win. In fact, his first win was only the third time in league history a team had a 17+ point comeback win without scoring an offensive TD.

On the other hand, Daniels looked accurate and dangerous on the ground, completing 70.8% of his passes and doing a ton of damage running the ball – with both of his touchdowns coming on QB rush plays.
