Star Wars Prequel Trilogy Hero Cards

Topps Star Wars Living Set® Card #323 Jar Jar Binks

This Jar Jar Binks card from 2022 renders the character’s animated look from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, set during his days as a galactic representative between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The art here represents the show’s unique visual style, though Jar Jar is still sporting his iconic purple necktie.

2005 Topps Revenge of the Sith Widevision – Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu

This autographed Mace Windu card bearing the signature of legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson is a perfect addition to any Star Wars collection. You may have trouble getting your hands on one from the 2005 Revenge of the Sith release, but the purple-bladed Jedi is always worth chasing.

2018 Topps Star Wars Masterwork Sketch Card Qui-Gon Jinn by Angel S. Aviles 1/1

Despite only appearing in a single film, Liam Neeson’s Qui-Gon Jinn remains one of the most beloved characters from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The Jedi Master is gorgeously rendered here by artist Angel Aviles, whose signature adorns the back of the card.

2002 Topps Star Wars Attack of the Clone Wars #3 Padmé Amidala

Padmé’s 2002 card from the original Topps Attack of the Clones set shows her as she appears during the Battle of Geonosis, dressed in white and wielding a borrowed battle droid blaster. The description on the back of the card mentions “renegade Jedi” Count Dooku’s plot to kill her and the “obvious mutual attraction” between Padmé and Anakin Skywalker.

2005 Topps Revenge of the Sith #1 Anakin Skywalker

This 2005 Anakin Skywalker card accurately describes the character as “an amazing hero of the Republic” – an apt inclusion on a list such as this. Of course, Anakin doesn’t remain a hero for the duration of Star Wars – Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. The art on the front of the card shows flames rising up around Anakin’s legs, which brutally foreshadows what’s to come.
