Some of Magic’s Best with the Brand
Magic Johnson brought five championships to Los Angeles – and Showtime to the world. Perhaps the most exciting passer to ever play, Magic helped his franchise become appointment viewing in one of the most dominant decades in league history. In his initial eleven-year stint, Johnson made nine finals appearances.
But, with Magic, it was more than just the rings – it was the flair, the vision, the style, and, of course, the smile. Magic’s exploits on the court and his business ventures off of it have kept him in the American zeitgeist for the better part of half a century. His team was so famous it became the subject of an HBO prestige television show decades later. One of the most important names in basketball and The Hobby, he put on a show that still resonates today.
